Matthew Caiola quickly moved through the ranks and after 13 years, he was promoted to 5WPR Co-CEO in February 2022, making him the youngest CEO of a Top 10 PR agency in the United States. Matthew has been a key member of teams that are responsible for the reputation of some of the most sophisticated companies and visible public figures in the world, along with emerging brands and technologies that are making history.

Clients have included high-profile individuals such as former Apple and Pepsi CEO, John Sculley; Amazon; SodaStream; real estate software company RealPage, which was taken private in 2020 in a $10.2B deal with Thomas Bravo; Fortune 500 local broadcast leader Sinclair Broadcast Group; global leaders in consumer electronics, VIZIO, Nokia, and Samsung SmartThings; SAP NS2, the U.S. subsidiary of global giant SAP supporting the U.S. national security community in the global fight against terrorism, and Axiom Space, the first to launch an all-private crew mission to the International Space Station.

Matt was recently honored by Ragan’s Communicators of the Year Awards 2023, and was also awarded a Stevie by the 2023 American Business Awards for Communications, Investor Relations, or PR Executive of the Year. He is also the leader of 5W’s digital agency, HOW.
